The comedian

Acclaimed children's author and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.

The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.

A number of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.

To date, he has released in excess of 40 works in total, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

From Screen to Page

He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He was made an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for the charitable sector and arts community.
